Last night was strange. I’m not sure why, I know, she is not gone forever. I know I will see her again soon, as I will be out her way soon enough on business, and she has family back here in Michigan.

It’s hard not to get choked-up about it. Hell, it was hard not to get choked-up at her wedding. But I guess that’s what happens when a true friend is going on to the next chapter of her life.
